I went through periods where I hardly ate anything due to stress, depression, a divorce, breakups, and because I thought it would reduce my gender dysphoria. Therapy has been incredibly helpful. I’ve worked really hard on my emotional and mental health. I’ve also figured out a balance when it comes to food. I see food as fuel. And I still eat things I crave, just less. I love my body and am so grateful for its resilience through everything it’s been put through. I look in the mirror and see the man I’ve always wanted to be. I love my scars and stretch marks. I love this journey…I’m learning so much every day! To whoever sees and reads this: You are more capable than you think. You can transform yourself over and over and over again. You can do things that others will say are impossible for you.
